About
Built because the tools we wanted did not exist.
Tulir Systems LLC · formed 2026 · New Jersey, United States
Tulir Systems began as a set of personal tools, not as a company. The first was built to answer a question a brokerage statement will not: what do I actually own? If you hold five funds and three of them carry the same company in the top ten, nothing on your statement tells you that your real exposure to that company is several times the shares you bought directly.
Answering that properly took fund look-through — reading each fund’s disclosed holdings and resolving them down to companies. Once the software knew what was really in a portfolio, most of the other questions became answerable from the same parsed file, and the tool kept growing. A second tool followed, for the opposite problem: not what you hold, but what changed in it while you were not looking.
Those two tools are now XRay My Portfolio and PulseAlert, and Tulir Systems LLC is the company that builds them.
What we build
XRay My Portfolio
Upload a brokerage positions export or a PDF account statement and the app organises everything into a single view: company-level exposure across direct holdings and fund look-through, sector and thematic concentration, fund overlap, a correlation heatmap, stress scenarios, expense-ratio drag, estimated dividend income, target-allocation drift, tax-loss harvesting, Roth conversion sizing, retirement withdrawal modelling and long-horizon projection. The statement file is parsed inside your browser and is never uploaded.
PulseAlert
Scheduled scans of a watchlist you choose, with an email when something in it changes: price and trend signals, support and resistance levels, insider filings, options activity, market-wide screens and a daily market-mood reading. Each measure has a page setting out how it is calculated, what data it uses, and where it is likely to be wrong.
How we work
Three things decide what gets built and what gets cut.
- The working is part of the product. A number without its method is a claim, not information. Both products document how each figure is derived, and both publish the limits — the data that lags, the cases that are skipped rather than guessed at, the models that are models.
- Silence beats a plausible estimate. Where the available data cannot support a figure honestly, the product says it cannot compute it. That is a design decision, made repeatedly, rather than an accident.
- Small, and staying small. There is no sales team and no incentive to sell you something else. The person who writes the code reads the support email.
What Tulir Systems is not
Worth stating plainly, because the category is full of companies that are some of these things:
- Not a registered investment adviser, and not a financial planner. We do not give personalised advice and will not tell you what to buy or sell.
- Not a broker-dealer. We do not place, route or execute trades.
- Not a custodian. We never hold your money or your securities, and we have no access to your brokerage account.
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any brokerage, fund company, exchange or data provider named in our products. Market and reference data comes from third-party providers under their own terms; their names appear as sources, not as partners.
Important
Nothing produced by Tulir Systems is a recommendation. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal, and past performance does not indicate future results. Decisions about your own money should be made with a licensed professional who knows your full situation. See our Disclaimers and Terms of Use.
Who is behind it
Tulir Systems LLC is an independent company formed in New Jersey in 2026, operating in the United States. It is built and run by an individual investor who wanted better tools than the platforms offered and decided to make them available to other people.
