1. No advisory or fiduciary relationship

Tulir Systems LLC is not a registered investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a financial planner, an accountant, a tax adviser, a law firm or a custodian. Using this site or our software does not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage or professional relationship between you and us.

We do not know your financial situation, your objectives, your tax position, your time horizon or your tolerance for loss. Nothing we publish or compute is tailored to any of them. Decisions about your own money should be made with a licensed professional who knows your full circumstances.

2. Signals, scores and alerts are not recommendations

Some of our software applies published technical and fundamental rules to market data and labels the result — for example as a signal, a conviction level, a rating, or an item that changed today. These labels describe what a rule computed, not what we think you should do. A label reading “buy” or “sell” is the output of a formula applied to a price series. It is not our opinion of the security, it is not personalised to you, and it should not be read as advice.

Any screen, ranking or list is a filter over data on a given date, not a recommended portfolio.

3. Market and reference data

Market prices, fundamentals, fund holdings, regulatory filings, corporate actions, analyst figures and classifications used in our products come from third-party providers and public sources. We do not originate this data and we cannot guarantee it.

• It may be delayed. Nothing in our products should be assumed to be real-time unless it says so.
• It may be incomplete or wrong at source, and errors can propagate into anything computed from it.
• Fund holdings come from periodic public disclosures and therefore lag a fund’s actual current composition, sometimes by months.
• Where a security, fund or filing cannot be identified, our software is designed to say so rather than to guess — but an unresolved item still means the picture is incomplete.

4. Calculations, models and projections

Analyses, stress scenarios, simulations, tax estimates and long-horizon projections are models. They describe a range of possible outcomes given a set of assumptions. They are not forecasts, not guarantees, and not predictions of what will happen.

Tax-related figures are estimates for comparing choices, not tax advice and not a tax return. They rest on assumptions about rates, brackets and rules that can change, and they cannot account for your full tax position.

Where our products display their own calculation, that calculation is ours and may differ from a figure published elsewhere under a similar name. Each product documents how its figures are derived; read that before relying on one.

5. Performance

Past performance does not indicate future results. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. No analysis reduces that risk, and seeing more information about a portfolio does not make an outcome more likely.

Historical or trailing return figures shown in our products are computed from data we obtain from third parties and are presented for reference. They are not a measure of any account’s actual return, which depends on transactions, timing and costs our software does not see.

6. Illustrative material on this website

Screenshots and examples shown on this site are captures of our software taken at a point in time. Portfolio figures shown are from a demonstration account, not a real client’s holdings, and market figures are a point-in-time capture rather than live data. They illustrate what the software displays; they are not a representation of any person’s results and nothing in them is a recommendation.

7. Availability

Our software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and features may change or be withdrawn. Alerts and scheduled runs depend on third-party data and delivery systems and may be late, incomplete or missed entirely; do not rely on an alert arriving.

8. Third-party names

Names and marks of brokerages, fund companies, exchanges, data providers and other companies appear in our products and on this site for identification only, to say where information came from or what a file format is. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from those companies, in either direction.

9. Jurisdiction

Tulir Systems LLC operates from the United States, and our products are offered on that basis. They are not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where offering or using them would be contrary to local law or regulation. If you access them from elsewhere, doing so is your decision and your responsibility.
