How our software reaches its figures.
Last reviewed: October 14, 2026
Both products are built on the same rule: a number without its method is a claim, not information. So each one documents how its figures are derived, what data they rest on, and where they are likely to be wrong. This page is the index to that material.
XRay My Portfolio
- What it does, and what it does not do — the twenty-five analyses, and an explicit list of the boundaries: the fund-holdings lag, the broker formats that are skipped rather than guessed at, why it cannot compute your actual return, and which tax figures are estimates.
- Privacy policy — what is sent, what is kept, and how to delete it.
- Terms of service
Inside the app, every analysis carries its own “How is this calculated” explanation beside the figure it produced.
PulseAlert
- What it watches — the measures it runs against a watchlist, on the product’s own front page.
- How these are calculated — the full methodology for every measure. This one sits inside the product and needs an account; signed out, the link lands on the sign-in form rather than the document.
From Tulir Systems
- About the company — why these tools exist, how we work, and what Tulir Systems is not.
- Disclaimers — why a signal is not a recommendation, what third-party data can and cannot be relied on for, and why a projection is a model rather than a forecast.
- Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for this website.
Something missing?
If a figure in either product is not explained anywhere you can find, that is a gap worth telling us about: [email protected].
